We are being updated daily with advice from the Government about the measures they are taking to deal with the coronavirus threat.
The most recent change affecting motorists was by announced by Grant Schapps, the Transport Minister - a temporary exemption has been given for any vehicle whose MOT is due from 30th March 2020. Owners will automatically receive a 6-month extension for the current MOT expiry for their vehicle. However, you still have a responsibility to keep your car in a roadworthy condition. You can find more details about the scheme and how it may affect you here.
Given this change, and after much consideration, we have decided that we will close the business with effect from 6:00 pm Tuesday 31st March.
Our plan, subject to any further guidance relating to business openings/closures by the Government, is to re-open on Tuesday 14th April, after the Bank Holiday weekend
I'm sure you will understand this was not a decision taken lightly, but our overriding concerns were to protect the long-term viability of the business and the health and welfare of both our customers, our staff and their families.
We know that many of you have relied on us for the supply and maintenance of your vehicles for many years - and we want to be here for many more years and continue to offer you the same care you've previously enjoyed.
We will keep updating our Facebook page during the time of the closure, so stay tuned!
Should you require any motoring advice whilst during our temporary closure, you will be able to contact the dealership on 07880 737 060, by text via 07507 332 161 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
